To gain a better understanding of the context I conducted User interviews and desk research. For the desk research I focussed on competitor analysis and the traffic data of the existing website. The interviews were conducted with existing customers and new visitors within the target group.
The analysis of the research data resulted into multiple insights that were combined to create persona's. These were used as a tool to create a better understanding of the target group.
Through hosting a creative session within the company I generated a multitude of ideas that I worked out into concepts. These concepts were made into lo-fi prototypes, user tested, iterated and refined until made into hi-fi prototypes. By running A/B tests on the existing website and testing the prototypes with users, the final design was established.
